We wanted to take a look around the old neighborhood, so Sean drove us to Aurora on Monday. After he parked out front of Lansing Middle School, we walked up and down the block, amazed at how little it had changed. It looked exactly the way it had back in the 90s, which was exactly Read.

occupied
I went to visit Caboose Hobbies this afternoon while My Darling B joined The Seansterator in the Occupy Denver march through the downtown area. We split up for two reasons: One of us should have remained “on the outside” in the event, however unlikely, that it would become necessary to post bail and arrange for Read.

The Madison Food and Wine Show was a tad disappointing this year. There didn’t seem to be as much food to sample, and neither My Darling B nor I thought that any of the wines we tasted were especially remarkable. There was lots of cheese kibbled and set out to try – this is Wisconsin, Read.

measly 20 bucks
I bought a coffee pot from a guy on e-bay. Well, no, wait. If I say I’ve bought a coffee pot, you might assume I gave the guy money and he sent me a coffee pot. You might even assume I now possess a coffee pot. I do not and, as far as I know, Read.

Thursday night is guy night, the night I’m in charge of putting food on the family, and while I could have taken My Darling B straight home and burned some animal flesh on the Weber, instead I suggested that we spend the evening relaxing on the patio at Mickey’s Tavern with a couple of beers Read.

Paula
My Darling B and I went to see Paula Poundstone at the Barrymore Theater last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. But my, how that woman can talk! When she came out on the stage at five minutes after eight I joked to B that I hoped she would tack at least five more minutes on Read.

taste
My Darling B and I went to Taste of Madison this year even though we hadn’t planned to. We ended up going anyway because this was the first time that the weather was so nice we wouldn’t sweat off ten pounds while we were walking around the square. Every year before this, the temps were Read.

coined
Sometimes during the commute to work we can drive for twenty minutes without saying more that three or four words to each other, and sometimes we can talk non-stop all the way. And sometimes, even though we talk a lot, it all comes down to one or two words. This morning was a two-word morning. Read.

My Darling B lucked out big time last night: she didn’t have to prepare a special dinner for our anniversary. Thursday night is guy night, so I put my awesomely manly talents to good use, fired up my trusty Weber grill, and burned some burgers for our celebratory meal. We had some sweet corn in Read.

social
After we got our Wednesdays sorted out from our Tuesdays, My Darling B and I went into town after work on the evening that the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild should have been meeting at the Memorial Union on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. Trouble was, we didn’t know what any of them Read.
