tchotchkes

There’s a low brick wall along the bike path I take home from the arboretum where people leave their tiny plastic ducks, Pokemons, and other toy offerings for the rest of us to appreciate (I have not yet found a tiny toy suitable to leave as an offering).

The wall where a growing number of tchotchkes have been left by the passing residents of Madison and the surrounding environs. A dozen or so barnyard animals were originally confined to the small red barn to the right, but there are now many dozens of tiny plastic figures spread out all along the top of the wall.
Among the offerings: Mardi Gras beads, Scooby-Doo, Pikachoo, Aslan, Godzilla, and the Aflac duck.
A closeup shot of Godzilla surrounded by all his new friends.
Jesus! Dora!
A tiny doll house bedecked with beads and an elf emerging from the chimney.
The barn that started it all. It was left many years ago and lovingly stocked with an assortment of barnyard animals.

Amazing that some of those aren’t stolen. Maybe they are and replaced with something else.
