The new cat still does not have a name. Wait, that’s not right. I have the feeling that he’s got a name. They’ve probably all got names, but we will never know what their names are because none of us speaks cat, same way that none of them ever calls us by name because they don’t speak English.
We’re still not sure what to call him, is the correct way to put it, I guess. We’ve been calling him all kinds of names: Scout, Scooter, Rascal, Troublemaker, Puppy, and so on. He hasn’t yet let us know which one we should call him all the time, and doesn’t seem to be in any kind of hurry to clue us in. That’s all right. We’re patient, too.
