I thought I was going to be the only dude in the yoga class we signed up for, but at the last minute another guy walked in.

There were about fifteen of us. The instructor says that’s a big class. It seemed big in the tiny little room where we gathered at the community center. We weren’t crowded in, but cozy would be a good word.

Maureen, the instructor, gave us a little talk about what the class would be like, whipping a little philosophy about yoga on us, too, and then led us through maybe thirty minutes of stretches and poses. Yoga looks pretty easy when you watch people doing it, but I can tell you I was popping a sweat by the time we were done.

But it was a good way to decompress after work, get a little exercise and learn just how out of shape I am. Got lots of work to do on those muscles that are reminding me of my laziness this morning.
