I can’t believe our waitress changed the channel right in the middle of the final scene of the movie Carrie. And right after we lavishly tipped her. We were sitting right there when she changed it, too. Turned our chairs around and everything so we could see Cissy Spacek immolate everyone at the prom. Everyone in the dining room was watching when our waitress walked in, pointed the remote at the screen and changed the channel to a baseball game. She could’ve waited two more minutes and the scene would’ve been over, but noooOOOoooo. Thanks a bunch, waitress at the Vintage brewpub on University Avenue. Tell your boss that was the most boneheaded thing he ever told you to do. Tell him I said so.
