The last day of the film festival! *sigh* Five days seems like a lot, until it’s over.
Our first film on the last day was Sasha, about a boy with a crush on his piano teacher, which probably would’ve been all right with his parents if his piano teacher had been a woman, but he wasn’t, and when Sasha finally came out of the closet, his parents weren’t okay with any of that.
Which makes Sasha sound like an overly dramatic story but somehow it wasn’t. It was a very well-handled coming-of-age story that I liked so much I gave it Five out of Five. My Darling B did, too.
