IAT Verona Segment – 11/21/2025

I’m still trying to finish up the Verona segment. It seems to be the segment that won’t let me finish.

I walked the first 0.6 miles from KcKee Rd at the northern end (plus the last 1.2 miles of the Madison segment) on 11/5/2025.

I returned to the southern end today, intending to knock out the rest of it, but I bit off more than I could chew. I could only make it as far as the Badger Prairie County Park before I had to turn back to return to my car before it got dark. 3.7 miles of the IAT completed (6.4 miles round trip in 2 hrs 26 mins).

I took this photo of denuded oak trees during a short break on the way back.
