A few wildflowers I saw while hiking through the UW-Madison Arboretum:
puffy white clouds with grey bottoms partially block the blue skies above the Curtis Prairie on the UW-Madison Arboretum, which is dotted with yellow wildflowersthe yellow center of these New England Asters are fringed with purplish petals the white blossoms of a plain gentian poke up from the green background in the center of the photo. A sawtooth sunflower blossom adds a splash of yellow to the upper right, while the brownish seed cones of the prairie coneflower dot the greenish background. bright yellow common sneezeweed and goldenrod blossoms dominate the photo, with a couple Joe Pye weed blossoms giving a splash of purple in the top center
