IAT Lodi Marsh segment

I walked only a short section of this segment today, partly because the trail was really very muddy, so muddy I thought a one point about halfway up the hill I was pretty sure I was going to slip in the mud and slide though it all the way down the hill. Happily, that did not happen. But I also opted out of walking the whole trail partly because I just didn’t have the steam to walk the whole thing today. Some days are like that.

At least I made it to the top of the hill, where I got to see a spectacular view of the valley below on this fine sunny day.

My route today took me from the south parking lot up the hill past the scenic viewpoint to the shortcut down to Riddle Road. I walked Riddle Road back to the parking lot. Looks like a distance of about 3.6 miles.
