Is there anything more frustrating than trying to remember the name of somebody and not being able to do it? It’s like suddenly losing the power of speech. B and I had been trying to name the actress that was in some movie or another and neither one of us could do it. Two days later, I blurted out “Ellen Page!” in the car as we headed downtown. She seemed puzzled for just a moment, then the nickel dropped and she realized why I was shouting random names when I should have been focused on driving the car.
