I’ve had some silly-ass pop song stuck in my head all week long, so I suppose I should be grateful that the song I’m hearing over and over again this morning is “Born Free,” a song that I haven’t heard in decades, perhaps even centuries, and it’s not just any recording of the song, it’s the full orchestral version with some lounge singer like Mel Torme doing the vocals. Weird.
