Pretty slow day. Mostly I just watched the hell out of Netflix while I sprawled in a recliner, trying to find a position that was relatively comfortable while allowing my sinuses to drain. Didn’t find one.
Watched the first two episodes — about fourth-two hours — of The War by Ken Burns, which I found mildly disappointing because the introduction sold it as the story of people from four American towns who took part in World War Two, and to an extent Burns does that, but he spend a disproportionate amount of time summarizing the events in the war, not that it’s unimportant, just that it’s already a really long video and he’s going into a lot of detail with maps and bios and technical manuals and such. I thought it was going to be about the people, is all.
