This is one of the most active batches of beer I’ve brewed in a long time! It came to life within just a few hours of pitching, and the air lock was full of foam the next morning. I cleaned it out but it just filled up again, so I replaced it with a blow-off tube that I had to watch carefully to make sure it wouldn’t get jammed full of foam, too!

Fermentation settled down by the next morning and I could replace the air lock.
