Now this looks like a lot of fun. We spotted it in the parking lot of a garage on Winnebago Street. I’m not sure what the point of putting two Volkswagen buses on the roof of a former school bus would be, other than to make it eye-catching. I very strongly suspect, however, that it’s more likely the result of two guys wandering aimlessly through a junkyard and trying to think of something unusual to do with a couple of old Volkswagens, other than rebuild the engines and make them roadworthy again.

This Frankenbus is apparently the traveling workshop and home of 7cees.org, which is three guys who have been driving around the country in their search for life experiences that will help them define their very reason for existence. Or something like that. I had a good, long look at their web site, on which they talk a lot about creativity, experiences, life and so on, but I honestly couldn’t figure out exactly what they’re up to. Whatever it is, recording their experiences isn’t high on their to-do list.
