Found! The lost passport photos! I was moving some boxes from one corner of the basement to another and ran across a couple small boxes I didn’t recognize. Opening them up to see what the hell was in them I found a treasure trove of trinkets kept as keepsakes from all over the world and these two strips of photos that had to be intended for our passports, because we’re trying to look very serious instead of sticking our tongues out or making googly eyes. The photos aren’t dated, but they were probably taken in 2005 when we were getting ready to return to the States from Japan.
